SHRESHTA Scheme: Empowering Rural Students

SIRDS has launched a hostel for rural Scheduled Caste (SC) and economically disadvantaged students in Thondebhavi under the SHRESHTA Scheme, backed by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. This initiative aims to provide free residential education to 100 SC students, significantly enhancing their access to quality education. By fostering a supportive learning environment, the hostel promotes educational equity and empowers students from rural backgrounds. Through this program, SIRDS is committed to improving educational outcomes and overall welfare in underserved communities. This initiative represents a crucial step towards bridging the educational gap for marginalized groups.

SIRD's Support for SC Community Students

SIRD is dedicated to empowering Scheduled Caste (SC) community students by providing essential support for their education. Through scholarships, mentoring, and resources, we aim to enhance their learning opportunities and promote academic success. Our initiatives focus on bridging educational gaps and fostering a supportive environment for these students. By investing in their education, we are helping to build a brighter future for the SC community.

The event included discussions on his principles of non-violence and truth, inspiring students to embrace these values in their lives. Various activities, including cultural performances and a quiz, engaged the students and fostered a spirit of unity. This celebration not only commemorated Gandhi's contributions but also encouraged the students to reflect on their own roles in building a better society.
